We like to maintain as much contact with parents as possible and involve them in school life whenever we can. The School uses SeeSaw and Email to keep parents up to date with their child's work and to communicate with you; we post individual and group announcements onto the site for you to instantly access from your phone.
We give each child a Reading Record book which can also be used as a means of communication in addition to recording reading progress. Please make sure that you check this book daily for Teacher's comments/requests and initial the book so we know you have seen it. Please also use it to make any comments or pass on any relevant information.
We publish a newsletter at the end of each week to keep you fully informed about what's happening at school. The newsletter is sent via email as well as being posted on SeeSaw and here, on the website. Further letters are sent, dealing with specific events, when needed. These might relate to school trips for which we require parental consent, although we do send home a general permission slip at the beginning of each school year covering local visits.
There are times when we may need to contact you individually, perhaps in an emergency situation, so please let us know if you change address, get a new phone number, etc, so that we can keep our records up-to-date. In case you forget to do this, we send home a data sheet at the start of each academic year showing the information we currently hold for you and we ask that you check and amend this as necessary.
